Best BTS Photo!

I usually have my assistants take behind the scenes photos but this one from the Javelin Publishing session for The New York Times Magazine is making me re-think this. It was shot by Reitsma Mpindi, the office manager of Javelin, who came along just to hold jackets for the subjects and otherwise be an extra set of hands. 

Early on I gave him my phone to take a few BTS photos and he really took to it. I mean, he shot upwards of one hundred frames! But here he shows one of the keys to get that one great photo - shoot a lot of volume. Of course, he clearly has visual talent too.
