Jay-Z Homage

Today is the anniversary of my iconic Marcy Houses shoot with Jay-Z. 

My Steve Martin bread fingers picture gets a nod from colleagues once in a while but this image has received just as many Instagram tributes over the years.

It’s fascinating to see the details that get picked up on. The extension cord is obvious, but I love the attention to the footwear, and then strangely, the beverages. 

The range of treatments keep it fresh, from a young child with OG swagger, to a Harlem therapist pitching to a black clientele.
