Last of the Season Old Fashioned, w Sardines
My photo agent asked us to create, and document a favorite drink and snack to share during the Sheltering in Place period.
My wife, Michelle Golden, and I prepped in the kitchen in the late afternoon and then shot in our side yard when the light was perfect. And, I can assure you that no props went to waste.
It’s the late afternoon and time for an Old Fashioned, with sardines on a Triscuit cracker.
The Drink: Bulleit Rye (2 ounces), with some sugar, a dash of rhubarb bitters (a nod to spring), an orange rind garnish, on the rocks.
The Snack: Tinned sardines, with a slice of lemon, on a Triscuit cracker.
