UNEASY Adrienne Shelly

As the on-set photographer for Hal Hartley’s movie Trust, I was shooting the publicity stills and some behind-the-scenes documentary pictures. Adrienne was the star of the film, but it was a low-key set with little sense of hierarchy. We were not super close, but we stayed in touch after the filming; at one point she even offered to marry me to help me get my green card (a very sweet offer that I could not take her up on.).
